Copthorne Hotel, Sheffield
I worked at the Copthorne Hotel as a food & beverage assistant, where my responsibilities included serving on the bar, waiting on tables in the restaurant and completing any room service requests. My role also included cash handling, compliance with ‘think 25’ and always providing excellent customer service for guests. Due to the hotel being attached to Bramall Lane stadium, I have experience working in a very fast paced environment due to how busy the bar could get on a match day, I also have experience working birthday/Christmas parties as well as other events as these would often be held at the hotel. I was furloughed during the COVID-19 pandemic and as a consequence of the hotel ceasing to trade in July 2020, I was made redundant from my role as a food & beverage assistant.
